New Lots, New Grandbabies & New Adventures: November Update

New Lots, New Grandbabies & New Adventures: November Update

November already? Between stop sign incidents, grandbaby snuggles, and business explosions, we've been living life at full speed—which is saying something when you're literally living on wheels.

We Upgraded (And Nate Hit a Stop Sign)

So, remember that gorgeous campground we were at in Rockport? Well, we loved it so much we decided to... move. Wait, what?

We're now at a different RV resort just outside of Rockport, and honestly, this place is next-level. We're talking resort pool, lazy river, pickleball courts (yes, we're those people now), cemented lots, and the most perfect walking path for the dogs. It's so nice that we're actually considering buying a lot here. Like, putting down semi-permanent roots. Or as permanent as roots get when your home has wheels.

But let's talk about the move itself, shall we?

Picture this: We're pulling out of the previous park, everything's going smoothly, Nate's navigating like a pro, and then—WHAM. He swings the back end of the fifth wheel directly into a stop sign. Because apparently, stop signs are just suggestions when you're driving a 40-foot RV, right?

The good news? It was mounted on a wooden post that just pulled right out of the ground like a giant game of lawn darts. The damage? A small dent on the back corner of the camper that can easily be dinged out. The lesson? RV life keeps you humble, folks. And always, always have a spotter.

We're calling it a "learning experience." Nate's calling it "character building." I'm calling it blog content.

Meet Carter Nathan: Our Perfect Little Guy

And now for the news we've all been waiting for—our grandbaby finally arrived!

Meet Carter Nathan, the most adorable, healthy little guy you've ever seen. After what felt like the longest 40 weeks in history, he decided to make his grand entrance, and let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

The moment they placed him in my arms, all those long-forgotten memories of holding my own babies came rushing back. The weight, the warmth, the tiny fingers wrapping around yours—it's a feeling you don't realize you've missed until it's right there in front of you again. I may have cried. Okay, I definitely cried.

Carter is perfect, Camryn is doing amazing, and we're all completely smitten. Being a grandma is even better than I imagined, and I didn't think that was possible.

Laser Goes to School (And He's Actually Learning!)

In other family news, Laser—our resident escape artist and chaos coordinator—started

dog training at Sit Means Sit in Corpus Christi. His trainer, Wes, is an absolute wizard,

and Laser is doing amazing at listening.

We're learning how to all co-exist with each other, which is a big deal when you're living in an RV with two dogs who have very different energy levels. Laser's actually responding to commands, walking nicely, and—get this—not bolting for the nearest body of water every five seconds.

That said, all bets are off when the brothers start wrestling. The second Laser and Major get into their playful tussle mode, it's like all that training flies out the window. But hey, progress is progress, and we'll take it.

Laser Duck: Holiday Hustle Mode Activated

While we've been settling into the new resort and welcoming Carter into the world, Laser Duck Designs has been absolutely crushing it with holiday orders and B2B sales.

Our corporate clients are loving the custom promotional products, and individual holiday orders have been rolling in steadily. If you've been thinking about placing an order, now's the time—we're still taking custom requests, but turnaround times are extending as we get deeper into the season.

From personalized tumblers and leatherette goods to custom team gear and snarky gifts that actually make people laugh, we've got you covered. And yes, everything is still made right here in our mobile workshop with American-made quality and that signature Laser Duck attitude.

Last-Minute Holiday Orders? We've Got You

The clock is ticking on holiday orders, but we're still taking custom requests! Whether you need:

Corporate gifts that don't feel generic

      • Team merchandise for fundraising or spirit wear

      • Personalized gifts for clients, employees, or loved ones

We can make it happen—but reach out soon. Turnaround times are 4-6 days for individual orders, and about two weeks for bulk orders during the holiday rush.

Ready to order? Head over to LaserDuckDesigns.com and browse our collections, or reach out directly for custom B2B quotes.

Keeping All the Plates Spinning

Between Laser Duck orders, coaching gyms remotely & in-person guest coaching through Digital Gym Director, and managing life on the road, it's been a busy season. But honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. Digital Gym Director has been booming with new gyms signing up for January, and it's been incredible to help facilities get organized and set up for success in 2026.

If you're curious about what we're up to on the gymnastics consulting side, you can check out DigitalGymDirector.com—but I'll save those updates for that blog!

Next Stop: Tulsa, Then Florida!

In just one week, we're packing up and heading to Tulsa, Oklahoma for BMX Grands! My nephew is racing for a title (actually, a few titles), and we're joining my sister, her four kids, and my parents for what's sure to be an action-packed, adrenaline-fueled family reunion.

After Tulsa, it's off to Florida for the winter—our annual migration south to escape the cold and soak up some sunshine. We'll be setting up shop, continuing to crank out Laser Duck orders, and enjoying the slower pace of Florida living (if you can call our life "slow").

Life on the Road: Chaotic, Beautiful & Never Boring

Between RV mishaps, grandbaby snuggles, dog training victories, and businesses that are growing faster than we ever imagined, life is full. It's chaotic, it's beautiful, and it's never, ever boring.

Thank you for following along on this wild ride. Whether you're here for the RV adventures, the small business hustle, the family moments, or just to see what Laser gets into next, we're so grateful you're part of our community.

Now, go check out those holiday gift guides before your favorite items are gone!

Until next time, Krystal, Nate, Major, Laser (the reformed escape artist), and the proudest grandparents you ever did meet

P.S. If you see a 45-foot RV with a slightly dinged back corner rolling through Tulsa or Florida, give us a wave. We promise we'll watch out for stop signs this time. 😉
