Celebrations, Pickles & the Road to Colorado

July Adventures from the Pond
After an incredible weekend at Rockport Market Days, we kicked off the following week doing what we love most—celebrating our flock!
🎉 Our son graduated from his HVAC certification program at SVTV (cue proud parent feathers flapping wildly).
💇♀️ Our youngest daughter officially enrolled in Aveda Cosmetology School (future hair magician in the making).
👶 And our daughter had a fantastic ultrasound check-in for baby boy, due October 3rd—he’s already got us all wrapped around his tiny (future) fingers.
With all the celebrating behind us (and maybe a tear or two shed), we jumped back into duck mode and built an in-store display for our newest (and juiciest) collab: Scary Larry Pickles out of Corpus Christi. That’s right—Laser Duck Designs is officially part of the pickle scene, and honestly? It’s kind of a big dill. We’re relishing this moment in all its briny glory 🥒✨
After setting up their first batch of engraved products and basking in the vinegary goodness of success, we hit the road once more.
🛻 First stop: a cozy overnight in the Heart of Texas.
🐎 Second stop: a stunning 5th generation working horse & cattle ranch (shoutout to
Harvest Hosts for the epic view and peaceful vibes).
Today, we rolled into Colorado Springs where we’ll spend the week restocking for Scary Larry Pickles, cranking out new custom goodies, and prepping for the next three weekends of fun at the Colorado Springs Flea Market with The Quack Shack.
If you’re in the area, come find us! We’ll be the ones making a scene with a laser, a duck, and probably a ridiculous number of pickle jokes.
Until next time—stay spicy, stay snarky, and stay tuned for more Ducks on the Road.
