From Colorado Peaks to B2B Sneak Peeks

This past week has been a blur in the best kind of way. We rolled out a brand-new Business-to-Business merchandising program on the Laser Duck website, built to give companies custom swag and promo gear that doesn’t suck. While the digital shelves were filling, the pups got their mountain fix in Colorado Springs. Garden of the Gods did not disappoint — Laser went full daredevil climbing the biggest rocks he could find, and Major soaked up every second of fresh air and sunshine.

Midweek, I hopped a plane back to Minnesota for a whirlwind four-day trip to work at the gym, check in with the team girls, and see just how much progress they’ve been making this summer. Meanwhile, Nate got elbow-deep in building sample boxes filled with snarky merch and marketing goodies for the new B2B program. Our RV park neighbors even got a taste of Laser Duck magic when we made them custom ballcaps with their initials and a mountain backdrop — safe to say, they were a hit.

On the family front, our son shipped out to Navy bootcamp. Now we wait (and wait) for that first postcard or phone call — usually about three weeks. In the meantime, Digital Gym Director, my remote gym management business, welcomed a new client and I inched closer to launching the first online course this September.

Next up, we’re heading west to Utah. The plan? Golf our way there using Harvest Host stops, then spend a few weeks hiking, soaking up jaw-dropping views, and exploring — all while keeping orders rolling out and the new remote management business launch on track. It’s going to be a busy ride, but that’s exactly how we like it.
