Meet the Ducks!

We Packed Our Lives (and Lasers) into an RV
Well… we did it. We traded our sticks-and-bricks life for wheels, Wi-Fi, and a whole lot of questionable campground coffee. Welcome to Ducks on the Road—our chaotic, caffeinated, laser-powered journey across the U.S., where the RV is home, the toy hauler is a mobile studio, and the dog thinks every campsite is his backyard.
🦆 Who the Quack Are We?
We’re Krystal and Nate Wallerich—two empty nesters who decided that life’s too short to stay put. After raising five kids, running businesses, and doing the “responsible adult” thing for a couple decades, we decided it was time to shake the feathers loose.
Now? We live full-time in a Grand Design Momentum 395MS with our Husky/Boarder Collie, Major, and a whole flock of Milwaukee Packouts that house our mobile laser engraving studio: The Quack Shack by Laser Duck Designs.

🚐 Why Hit the Road?
Because why not?
We wanted freedom, fresh air, fewer snowstorms, and more time doing what we love: creating custom snark (and sometimes class) on everything from tumblers to leatherette portfolios. The 9-to-5 was never really our jam. So we built a business we could run anywhere and hit the gas.
Also, let’s be honest—there’s something weirdly satisfying about labeling inventory bins while parked next to a lake.
💻 What Is Ducks on the Road?
It’s not just a travel blog—it’s a behind-the-scenes peek into our laser-sharp lifestyle on the go. Think:
- RV life tips (with bruises and duct tape)
- Vendor booth chaos at youth sports events and markets
- Small biz shipping & laser operations from the boondocks
- Product drops from our Luxe and Quack N Go lines
- Snarky commentary, because why the duck not?

🌟 What’s Coming Next?
We’re just getting started. Coming up, you’ll see:
- How we remodeled the toy hauler into a laser studio
- Our favorite gear & RV hacks (hello, Packouts!)
- The best (and worst) campgrounds so far
- Stories that’ll make you laugh, cringe, and say “same”
🧡 Thanks for Being Here!
Whether you’re here for the travel inspo, the snarky tumblers, or because you're related and feel obligated (hi, kids), we’re glad you made it.
Until next time—stay wild, laser responsibly, and always give a quack.
